Invisible Forest Lodge
A boutique lodge of mirror-clad suites hidden in a pine forest beside the Ounasjoki river, less than ten minutes from Rovaniemi. Every suite has its own sauna and hot tub, with fine dining and an Arctic spa a short walk through the trees.

The setting
Where the forest becomes the room
Each Invisible Suite is wrapped in mirror, so from the outside it almost disappears among the pines, while inside a full glass wall opens onto the forest and the bed faces the sky. It is one of the most private places we work with — and still only minutes from the city.
Evenings here revolve around the Invisible Restaurant and its Arctic tasting menu from the hot-rock grill, or a private dinner in one of the glass dinner domes in the forest, where many of our proposals take place. The Arctic Forest Spa, with its outdoor lagoon pool and wave sauna, is the most beautiful way to end the day.

Seasons & availability
Open all year round. From 1 November to 15 March the lodge welcomes guests aged 14 and over; from mid-March to the end of October families are welcome too. The aurora season runs from late August to April.
Ceremony locations
Among the pines in the forest around the lodge, at the end of a candle-lit path in the snow, or inside your suite with the forest as the backdrop. We choose the spot that suits your guest count and the season.
Reception & dining
Two options: the Invisible Restaurant, which seats up to 44 guests for a private wedding dinner, or the glass dinner domes in the forest, a private table under the sky for two to six guests.
Staying the night
Yes — in Invisible Suites and log cabins for two to four guests, the four-bedroom Luxury Log Villa for six to eight (ideal for the wedding party), or a glass Aurora Hut for two. Every suite, cabin and the villa has a private sauna and hot tub.
Extras & experiences
The Arctic Forest Spa with its outdoor lagoon pool and 360° wave sauna, northern lights tours, husky and reindeer safaris, an icebreaker cruise and other seasonal experiences, which we can weave into your wedding weekend.
Good to know
The forest is genuinely dark at night, which is wonderful for the northern lights. Celebrations are arranged as private events with the lodge, and we coordinate every detail with their team.
